Garlic
Seed garlic is available as an add-on: $8 for 1/4 lb, $15 for 1/2 lb, and $26 for 1 lb
You will receive a mix of Music and Russian Red. There will be roughly 30-40 cloves per pound (Music has much larger cloves than Russian Red). Each clove will produce one head of garlic. On average, one pound of seed garlic will plant 20-25 row feet of garlic when planted with 6″ between cloves. Not sure how much you need? Feel free to email us at hello@giychicago.com with questions.
Garlic should be planted in October or November and will be harvested the following July or August.
Garlic will initially only be available to customers ordering fall kits and cannot be purchased separately at this time.
